Well, our first taster night seemed to be a success! It was a hive of activity in the short two and a half hours we had in the workshop. The atmosphere in the ReFound shop was great too with lots of visitors looking around, enjoying the auction night buzz!
IN the class we had a think about mood boards and where to draw inspiration from, as well as talking about our pieces of furniture and working out what exactly we liked about them. Here’s a quick test to figure out what exactly you like about your favourite piece of funiture. Give yourself two minutes to right as many words down as you can about it. Now cut the list in half. Now narrow it down to five words…and now three! Really focuses your thinking doesn’t it?
We also got the sandpaper and paint out and got stuck in to the pieces while Chris talked through each person’s ideas with them. Everyone left with something done and hopefully the inspiration to do more themselves! So why not try out our very first full Masterclass this Saturday?
